Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. Per diem status offers flexible scheduling, local shifts, and competitive pay ranging from $37 to $39 per hour with same-day or next-day pay options.

Applicants must hold an active LPN license, have at least one year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and pass the required health screenings.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD within the last year required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
