Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a Care Nurse Supervisor (LPN) to oversee the Resident Care Department. You will supervise RCAs, assess residents, and collaborate with the Resident Care Director to plan and implement individualized care plans.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, document audits, and coordinate with healthcare providers. A valid LPN license and 1–2 years of experience with elderly care are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved L.P.N. program (per state requirements).
• Has a valid, unrestricted nursing license.
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience working as a nurse.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expertise in clinical skills and nursing judgement within their scope of practice.
• Identifies and assesses the clinical status of potential residents.
• Develops a plan of care in collaboration with the RCD.
• Develops a service plan in collaboration with the RCD according to state regulations.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via an effective case management process.
• Oversees resident health-related activities and ensures health care instructions are followed.
• Conducts SAMM / MAR and RCA documentation audits bi-monthly.
• Directs and supervises daily work assignments of RCAs and participates in hiring/term processes.
• Maintains compliance with regulations and Benchmark standards.
