Job summary

Benchmark Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care to our residents in a warm, home-like setting. You will be part of a dedicated team whose support and camaraderie build community and lasting relationships with residents and associates.

Responsibilities include assessing and documenting residents' status, guiding care staff, coordinating with providers, and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
• Graduate of an approved LPN program (per state requirements).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working as a nurse preferred.
• Previous experience working with the elderly in a paid or volunteer position is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses, communicates, and documents residents' status.
• Observes and reports any significant changes in resident health to relevant directors and family.
• Directs and supervises the daily work assignments of Resident Care Assistants.
• Mentors and guides Lead Resident Care Assistants in all aspects of their job.
• Coordinates care needs with community providers via a case management process.
• Balances service demands with supporting resident independence.
• Recognizes and reports elder abuse, neglect, or exploitation per state regulations.
• Responds to emergencies and personal emergency response system as needed.
