Job summary

Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc. in Turnersville, NJ, seeks a per diem Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery to support a fast-paced maternity unit. You will apply nursing processes to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with families, aligned to Jefferson Health standards.

The ideal candidate holds an active NJ RN license; BSN is preferred. Prior L&D experience is strongly preferred. BLS/AHA certifications are required; per diem shifts and competitive hourly pay are available.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Active RN license in state of practice (NJ).
• Familiar with Labor & Delivery procedures and safety standards.
• BLS/AHA certifications required.
• BSN preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with patients and families to provide compassionate care.
• Develops and updates care plans per nursing process.
• Administers medications and monitors patient status.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality of care.
• Documentation of assessments and interventions in medical records.
