The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, inter-professional teamwork, patient education, discharge planning, and continuous quality improvement. A specialized diploma and NJ RN license are required; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma required to practice nursing.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care.

• Knowledge of patient assessment and care planning.
• Knowledge of education techniques for patients and families.
• Knowledge of medications and prescribing considerations.

• BLS certification required (AHA/Red Cross).
