Job summary

North Idaho Home Health, part of the LHC Group, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant - Per Diem to provide in-home occupational therapy aimed at restoring patients to their optimal functional abilities.

The role requires Idaho OTA licensure, a valid driver's license, and NBOTCOT certification in Idaho, with CPR certification preferred. Compensation includes a range based on visits and hours, with benefits available where eligible.

Qualifications

• Must hold current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in Idaho.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing occupational therapy in home care and adhere to the supervising OT's treatment plan.
• Instruct and assist patients in evidence-based therapy within OTA scope and state laws.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to nurse supervisor and physician.
• Educate patient, family, caregiver, and health team on therapy within OTA scope.
• Function effectively in diverse home environments regardless of client background.
