Job summary

Baystate Noble Hospital seeks a dedicated Security Officer to protect patients, staff and visitors. Under the Security Supervisor, you will patrol the hospital and grounds, monitor surveillance, enforce access control, and respond to emergencies with professional de-escalation and teamwork.

You will assist in traffic control, provide escorts, and prepare clear incident reports. This role supports the Emergency Management Director and requires strong customer service and communication skills

Qualifications

• GED or HiSET is required; strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in security or related fields is preferred.
• Ability to document details clearly and accurately in reports.

Responsibilities

• Patrols facility and grounds to identify hazards and unauthorized access.
• Responds to alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
• Enforces access control and issues badges per policy.
• Provides escorts for staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
• Completes incident reports promptly and accurately.
• Assists in traffic control and safety during events or emergencies.
