Beth Israel Lahey Health in Milton, GA is seeking a per diem Pharmacy Technician to assist under the Director of Pharmacy with filling routine unit doses, prepackaged pharmaceuticals, and IV admixtures.

The role supports medication distribution, billing accuracy, and compliance with DEA, DPH, and State Board regulations in a hospital environment.

Entry-level candidate with HS diploma, state registration as a technician, and CPhT certification encouraged to apply.

Formación

• 0-1 years experience (entry level).
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Registered Technician with State.
• CPhT.

Responsabilidades

• Restocks floor stock/automated dispensing machines.
• Enters charges/credits against patient profile to ensure an accurate bill.
• Monitors medication order reports to assign medication to an automated dispensing machine.
• Delivers all medication in compliance with DEA, DPH & State Board of Pharmacy regulations.
• Repackages bulk supplies of medications in unit of use packaging per USP <795> & USP <800> standards.
• Prepares and delivers IV medications per USP <797> & USP <800> standards; maintains IV admixtures records and QA.
• Checks for expired medications and disposes of expired/damaged meds per RCRA/OSHA/NIOSH.
