Job summary

Atlantic Visiting Nurse, part of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a Per Diem Hospice Registered Nurse to care for adults and geriatrics at Morristown Medical Center and Overlook Medical Center. This role offers weekend and on-call opportunities with autonomy to support patients and families during end-of-life care.

You will join a leading home health and hospice team known for clinical excellence, compassionate care, and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license (RN) and current BLS.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience using an EMR system.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to independently manage patient caseload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for hospice patients.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans with families.
• Manage hospice caseload and coordinate with IDT.
• Educate patients and families on hospice care and medications.
