Job summary
Atlantic Visiting Nurse in Morristown, NJ, seeks an experienced Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse to provide after-hours clinical support to hospice patients across the community. You will respond to urgent needs, manage pain and symptoms, perform hospice admissions, and collaborate closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless, compassionate care around the clock.

Qualifications
- Experienced Hospice Registered Nurse with autonomous practice.
- Provides after-hours clinical support and compassionate care.
- Familiar with hospice policies and interdisciplinary care planning.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-call nursing coverage between 4:00 PM and 8:00 AM.
- Respond to after-hours triage requests and conduct visits as needed.
- Manage pain and symptom control, emotional support, and crisis intervention.
- Complete hospice admissions and modify plans of care as needed.
- Educate patients and families about hospice philosophy and care expectations.
- Complete accurate EMR documentation following each encounter.
- Coordinate with physicians, Hospice Medical Directors, and the care team.
- Supervise evening Home Health Aides and participate in training.
