Amedisys Beacon Hospice is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to serve per diem in the Dover-Foxcroft and Millinocket areas. This role supports hospice patients at home with flexible scheduling and competitive pay.

Responsibilities include conducting patient encounters, coordinating with the medical team, and ensuring appropriate diagnostics and treatment plans align with patient goals. Per diem PRN availability and home-based care emphasize compassionate, patient-centered services.

Qualificações

• Active nurse practitioner license in the state you’re assigned.
• Minimum of one year RN hospice or NP experience within the last three years.
• Must have authority to practice as an NP and to prescribe in the service state.
• Medicare billing privileges as an NP.
• Must meet state physician-NP collaborative requirements and provide applicable agreements.
• Insurance required by state law to practice/prescribe, or eligibility through group coverage.
• Knowledge of Medicare reimbursement/coding for home/nursing settings and Medicaid.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Communicate significant findings and condition changes to the clinical manager/physician and the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete face-to-face encounters and assess disease changes, function decline, adherence, and quality of life.
