Job summary

Hospice of New Mexico is seeking a Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, in-home end-of-life care in the Las Cruces area. You will follow care plans, support patients and families, and work with the nursing team to maintain comfort and dignity.

Requirements include a valid CNA license, CPR, a valid driver’s license, and at least one year of CNA experience. The organization offers comprehensive benefits and strong onboarding.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Holds current unencumbered CNA certificate in the state.
• Minimum one year CNA experience in acute or long-term care; hospice experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the care plan to ensure comfort and well-being.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and grooming.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and supportive presence for patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation per agency and regulatory standards.
