Corus Health in Albuquerque seeks a Certified Nurse Assistant to join its Hospice team, delivering hands-on personal care that brings dignity, comfort and human connection during challenging times.

You will follow care plans, document care in the EMR, report changes to nurses, assist with mobility, and provide emotional support to patients and families. A NM CNA certification, a state-approved training, and reliable transportation are required; home health or hospice experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Nurse Aide Certification in New Mexico.
• Completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide Training program.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience preferred; home health or hospice experience is a plus.
• Follows care plans, documents with care, and communicates clearly with patients, families, and clinical staff.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance for patient home visits.

Responsabilités

• Provide personal care services including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, toileting, and feeding under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Measure and record vital signs and report changes to supervising staff.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and prevent complications.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families.
• Document care provided accurately in the EMR in a timely manner.
• Support infection control and safety procedures in every care environment.
• Participate in in-service training and continuing education as assigned
