Hospice de la Luz/Jet Health, Inc. is seeking a dedicated, compassionate full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to support patients in hospice services around Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, NM.
The CNA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing personal care, monitoring vitals, assisting with ADLs, and documenting observations to promote comfort and quality of life. Requirements include an active CNA license in NM, at least one year of CNA experience (home health/hospice
Qualifications
- Active CNA license in NM.
- One year of CNA experience required.
- Home health/hospice experience preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
- Self-directed with minimal supervision; calm in patients' homes.
- Empathy for ill/injured/frail.
- CPR certification required.
- Licensed driver with insured vehicle.
Responsabilités
- Observe and report patient condition to RN Case Manager.
- Assist with personal care and ADLs, baths, oral hygiene, feeding as assigned.
- Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
- Assist in ambulation and prescribed exercises.
- Keep patient living space tidy; assist with light laundry.
- Adhere to care procedures and participate in quality improvement.
- Participate in on-call as assigned.
