Job summary

Lighthouse Hospice, Inc. in Cherry Hill, NJ is recruiting a Per Diem Compassionate Hospice Aide (CHHA) to join our patient-centered team. Schedule: 15-20 hrs/week covering Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties.

Under RN supervision, you provide comfort, assist with personal care, support families, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining compassion and respect for patients at the end of life.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid HHA or CNA license required.
• Minimum 6 months hospice or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
• CPR certification current if state-mandated.
• Valid driver's license and transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the plan of care.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, hygiene, and grooming.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and comfort for patients.
• Support families with guidance and education.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
