Job summary

Holisticare Hospice is seeking a Per Diem Hospice Aide (CNA/HHA) to provide compassionate end‑of‑life care in patients’ homes, working with our nursing team to meet physical, emotional, and personal needs with dignity and respect.

The role offers evenings and weekend shifts with coverage across Atlantic, Cape May, and Cumberland counties along with a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HHA or CNA license/certification required.
• Minimum 6 months hospice or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the plan of care and attend to patient and family needs.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, hygiene, bedding, clothing and grooming.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
• Support families with guidance and care for terminally ill loved ones.
• Maintain accurate documentation in home and agency records.
