Job summary

Lighthouse Hospice NJ is seeking a Per Diem Compassionate Hospice Aide (CHHA) to join our team providing patient care in and around the Cherry Hill area. Schedule: 15-20 hrs per week. Coverage area includes Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties.

You will work under the guidance of a registered nurse to ensure comfort and well-being for patients in their homes. We value compassionate, observant caregivers with a commitment to high-quality end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid HHA license or CNA license required.
• Minimum 6 months hospice or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care following the plan of care.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, oral hygiene, bedding, clothing, and shampooing.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and comfort to patients and families.
• Support families with knowledge and guidance for terminally ill loved ones.
• Maintain accurate documentation in home and agency records.
