Amedisys is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide home health PT services on a per diem days schedule. You will work under supervision to deliver therapy, document progress, and promote wellness for patients in their homes.

This role offers hourly pay between $33 and $41, with flexible scheduling, paid time off, and a range of benefits designed to support you and your family while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a physical therapy assistant (PTA) in the state assigned.
• Graduate from an CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• One year related PTA experience in home health preferred.
• CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services under the supervision of a PT and plan of care.
• Observes and reports patient response to treatment to the PT and staff.
• Maintains documentation of supervisory activities and patient progress.
• Promotes wellness and prevention and coordinates follow-up care.
• Participates in care conferences and quality improvement activities.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
