Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide adult home health visits on a per diem days schedule. You will help patients maintain and improve movement in the comfort of their homes, with flexible shifts designed for work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state assigned.
• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited physical therapy program.
• One year of PT experience in home health care preferred; if less, regional approval and mentoring may be required.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provide interventions, conduct reexaminations every 30 days at minimum, modify interventions as needed, and perform discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
