BrightStar Care Karing Hent, Inc. in Rochester, MN is seeking flexible and compassionate Per Diem/On-Call Caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home support for clients in need of dependable, personalized care.

You will assist with daily living activities and offer companionship in a home setting. You’ll coordinate with the care team, enjoy flexible hours, weekend availability, and opportunities for advancement, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and caring by nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing hands-on care in Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting.
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communicate with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.
