Job summary

BrightStar Care Karing Hent, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Home Health Aide to provide one-on-one care in clients' homes, assisting with personal cares, daily living activities, and compassionate support to help clients remain safe and comfortable at home.

Flexible scheduling includes early morning, evening, and weekend shifts, offering work-life balance while making a meaningful difference in the community.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in hands-on settings (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital).
• Reliable vehicle with valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Negative TB test orCleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance clients’ lives.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs.
• Coordinate with RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements:

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
