BrightStar Care seeks compassionate, in-home caregivers to join our team. Caregivers assist clients in their homes with bathing, dressing, companionship, meal prep and light housekeeping. We offer days, nights, weekends, short and long shifts to build your ideal schedule, with up to full-time hours available.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and caring.
• Experience in home health or similar care settings.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with auto insurance.
• Ability to pass TB test or chest X-ray clearance.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
• Assist with daily activities like bathing, dressing, meal prep, and light housekeeping.
• Provide physical assistance and transfers as needed.
• Transport clients to appointments and social outings.
• Monitor health changes and report to RN Case Manager.
• Collaborate with care coordination team to update the plan of care.

Seeking compassionate and reliable in-home caregivers to join our team at BrightStar! Caregivers are responsible for assisting clients individually in their own homes with things like bathing, dressing, companionship, meal prep and light housekeeping. With Days, nights, weekends, short, and long shifts available build your ideal schedule! Up to Full-Time hours available

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, behavior, and needs.
• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
