Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking Home Health Aides to care for clients in their homes. You will assist with personal cares, meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation, with flexible evening and weekend shifts to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and caring by nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care in hands-on settings (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital).
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance clients’ lives.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal prep, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, and needs.
• Coordinate with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

We are seeking HHA's to care for clients individually in the comfort of their own homes. Home Health aides are responsible for assisting clients with personal cares, meal prep, and transporting clients around the community. This position is great for someone looking for extra hours on the evenings and weekends. With flexible scheduling and a variety of shift lengths you have the opportunity to build a schedule that works for you!

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license with Auto Insurance.
• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
