Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking caring Home Health Aides in Duluth, MN, offering short shifts and flexible scheduling that support a healthy work-life balance. Join a team dedicated to compassionate home care and client well-being.

As a Home Health Aide, you will provide companionship, assist with daily activities, and help clients stay safe at home while coordinating with the care team. Weekly pay, training opportunities, and advancement potential are available.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience providing care in home health or similar settings.
• Reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation to enhance the lives of our clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Provide physical assistance such as bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
• Accompany clients to appointments or social outings, providing transportation as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in the client's health, behavior, and needs.
• Coordinate with RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

• Premium Short Shift Pay: We offer a variety of shift Lengths ranging from 1 hour to 12 hours. Our 1-hour shifts get paid at $30 per hour and hour 2-hour shifts get paid at $22.50 an hour. Any shift 3 hours or longer is paid at a base rate between $19-$22 based on experience.

Role Responsibilities:

• Act as a member of the Care coordination team to communication with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.

Requirements:

• A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


• Experience providing care to clients in a hands-on environment (Home Health, Assisted Living, Group Home, Hospital Setting)


• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license with Auto Insurance.


• Negative TB test or Cleared Chest-Xray.


• Availability to work 2 weekend days per month.
