Job summary

Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS) is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our home healthcare team in Hamilton, MA. This per diem role offers flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and licensure reimbursement, with clinical leadership support and ongoing professional development.

You will provide skilled PTA services in patients' homes under a supervising Physical Therapist, focusing on mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts PTA license is required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience.
• Afternoon availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Conduct transfer training and safe mobility techniques.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safety strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with Therapists, nurses, and other care team members.
• Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation.
