Qualifications

• High school graduation or GED with 2+ years healthcare experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with clinical and service departments.
• Ability to interpret medical terminology accurately.
• Proficiency with computer systems for Hub and service areas.
• Ability to sequence multiple tests across service areas.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with critical thinking.

Responsabilités

• Centrally prioritizes inpatient service demand for OC Managed Service Areas; collaborates with Unit C3s as needed.
• Balances patient itineraries and clinical requirements with service area orders and resource availability.
• Monitors and manages daily work queues for OC Managed Service Areas; adjusts priorities and escalates as needed.
• Assists with transport requirements for OC Managed Service Areas; supports Self-Managed Areas as needed.
• Collaborates with nursing to communicate pre-procedure requirements and patient preparedness.
• Manages itineraries for patients with multiple services across all service areas to optimize scheduling.
• Keeps schedules accurate across OC Managed and Self-Managed areas and records delay reasons for rescheduling.
• Daily collaboration with Unit Leadership, Nursing, Service Area Resources and Central Scheduling to address barriers to patient progression; place holds when needed.
• Reviews daily queue validity for OC Managed Service Areas, identifies duplicates or mis-scheduled orders and escalates.
