Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license is required in the state of practice.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Conduct forensic examination of the patient and catalog evidence for court or police.
• Perform forensic interviews with victims regarding incident(s) of abuse.
• Collect specimens, photographs, and conduct genital and other examinations as appropriate.
• Provide patient care guidance and ensure timely medical care and support.
• Coordinate resources to support department operations and patient flow.
• Mentor staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance in collaboration with unit leadership.
