VEG ER for Pets in Pleasant Hill, CA is seeking a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our frontline ER team. You will engage in triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing while supporting pet parents during stressful moments.

Ideal candidates are CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT certified with 1+ year ER or specialty experience, able to lift up to 25 kg and work nights/weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential in the practice state required
• 1+ year experience as a veterinary technician, ER or specialty preferred
• Able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long hours; night/weekend shifts possible

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, treatments, and monitoring in emergency cases
• Assist with anesthesia and patient monitoring
• Administer meds, IVs, and blood products as needed
• Support doctors and communicate with pet parents during care
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth care flow
