Job summary

ProMedica Monroe Physicians at Memorial Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Center on a Per Diem shift basis. The RN will coordinate patient care, interact with patients and families, and collaborate with the health care team to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care.

You will work with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and improve satisfaction. The ideal candidate holds an active RN license and current CPR training, with BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training. Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure period. At least 1 hour related to Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a patient’s plan of care and interact with patients, families and the health care team through open communication and mutual respect.
• Assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis; plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan.
• Collaborate with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and improve satisfaction.
