Job summary

ProMedica’s Emergency Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care and coordinate the patient’s plan of care. You will interact with patients, families and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making.

The RN will assess and formulate nursing diagnoses, plan, implement and evaluate care, and work collaboratively with nurses and support staff to reach patient care goals and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training.
• Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure period.
• At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care while coordinating the patient’s plan of care with patients, families and the health care team.
• Assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, and plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan.
• Collaborate with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and improve patient care and staff satisfaction.
