Job summary

Atlantic Health in Wayne, NJ, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a brand-new stand-alone Emergency Room. This per diem position supports a Mon-Fri 8am-8pm schedule with some weekend shifts, reporting to the Site Lead. Requires NJ RN license, BSN preferred, and at least 2 years of ambulatory or ER experience.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, triage, teaching, documentation in Epic, and collaboration with the care team to promote safety and quality care according to PRIDE values.

Qualifications

• RN license, valid in NJ
• BLS credential required
• 2+ years clinical experience, ambulatory setting preferred
• BSN strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; document in Epic.
• Coordinate patient assessments and teaching; ensure privacy and safety.
• Support team, participate in huddles and quality improvement.
• Manage triage, appointments, and accurate medical records.
