Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license in good standing
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred
• Prior emergency nursing experience
• Comfort with EMR systems (EPIC)

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes
• Provide safe medications, treatments and hands-on care
• Partner with physicians and providers to support timely care decisions
• Educate patients and families for informed decision-making
• Document accurately in the EMR to promote continuity of care
• Contribute to interdisciplinary rounds and smooth transitions of care
