Job summary

Global Medical Response in Clackamas, OR seeks an EMS Adjunct Instructor for per-diem, part-time teaching of EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic courses with possible standardized courses. Role includes labs and patient care scenarios, under the College of Emergency Services.

The instructor will evaluate students, maintain documentation, and stay current with EMS requirements, reporting to the EMS Program Manager. Per-hour pay ranges from $30 to $35 depending on class and experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years progressive field/clinical experience as a Paramedic.
• Experience as an adjunct instructor preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Completion of an approved Instructor course preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EMT/paramedic course content including skill labs and patient care scenarios.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student performance.
• Evaluate students across cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains.
• Ensure alignment with current EMS standards and evidence-based practice.
• Assist with program equipment and course administration.
