Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a part-time EMS Adjunct Instructor for Clackamas, OR. The position offers per-diem scheduling and compensation of $30.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on the class being instructed.

Responsibilities include delivering EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic education, conducting skill labs and patient care scenarios, and maintaining accurate student records while aligning with national standards and program guidance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years progressive experience in a field/clinical setting as a Paramedic.
• Experience as an adjunct instructor preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Completion of an approved Instructor course preferred, specifics as required by local governing authority.
• Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Instructor of either PALS or PEPP or EPC preferred.
• Licensing/Registration/Certification/DOT: NREMT Preferred; AHA BLS Instructor preferred; AHA ACLS Instructor preferred; PHTLS or ITLS Instructor preferred; OR Paramedic license.

Responsibilities

• Teach EMT, AEMT, Paramedic and/or standardized courses (IE ACLS, PALS, PHTLS).
• Instruct/facilitate in skill labs and patient care scenarios using program tools.
• Maintain documentation of student performance.
• Evaluate students across cognitive, psychomotor and affective domains and provide feedback.
• Present content as mutually established with the Program Manager.
• Supervise students in clinical areas as scheduled with Clinical Coordinator.
