Job summary

Global Medical Response (GMR) in Clackamas, OR invites applications for an EMS Adjunct Instructor. This per-diem, part-time role involves teaching EMT, AEMT, Paramedic and standardized courses, with labs and patient care scenarios.

You will evaluate students across cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains, maintain documentation, and stay current with EMS requirements. Prior instruction experience preferred; paramedic licensed in Oregon is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years progressive paramedic field/clinical experience.
• Experience as adjunct instructor preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Instructor course preferred, per local governing authority.
• Instructor of either PALS or PEPP or EPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructs skill labs and patient care scenarios using program tools.
• Maintains accurate documentation of student performance.
• Evaluates students in cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains.
• Delivers content as coordinated with the Program Manager.
• Supervises students in clinical areas as scheduled.
• Stays current with EMS state/local requirements and policies.
