Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey EMT certification.
• Required to obtain Emergency Medical Dispatcher Certification prior to hiring.
• Required to obtain Basic Communications Certification prior to hiring.
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS CPR card.
• Current and valid PHTLS or ITLS or TCCC certification.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CEVO certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire and renewed every 3 years.
• High School Diploma or Equivalency.

Responsibilities

• The EMS Dispatcher is responsible for the expeditious and efficient flow of incoming and outgoing telephone and radio transmissions for Emergency Medical Services.
