Job summary

United Counseling Service of Bennington County Inc in Vermont seeks a Per Diem Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Residential to assist residents at the South Street Group Home. You will support daily living skills, participate in treatment planning, and help with documentation and case management under supervision.

Responsibilities include daily skill-building, teamwork with an interdisciplinary group, housekeeping, and promptly reporting facility issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related human services field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in daily skill building with residents related to personal care, independence and community involvement.
• Participates as a member of interdisciplinary team and assists with treatment plan development.
• Maintains documentation for client records, payroll, incidents and daily functions.
• Performs housekeeping and cleaning duties and reports facility issues promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
