Job summary

Galleria Woods Senior Living is seeking a dependable Driver (Per Diem as needed) to transport residents to appointments, errands, and events. The role supports a safe, friendly, and engaging community while providing reliable transportation and friendly service.

The position pays $17–$20 per hour based on experience and requires a valid Alabama driver's license with CDL preferred. High school diploma or GED and at least six months of passenger transportation experience are needed, with

Qualifications

Valid Alabama driver’s license required.
CDL preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum six (6) months of bus, van, shuttle, or passenger transportation experience required.
Experience working with seniors preferred.
Dependable, professional, and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

Safely drive a van, bus, or automobile to meet resident transportation needs.
Assist residents on and off vehicles, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or other mobility devices.
Support resident outings and special events.
Load groceries and other purchased items into the vehicle.
Coordinate and schedule routine vehicle maintenance.
Clean and maintain assigned vehicles.
Perform light housekeeping duties as directed.
Provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive resident experience.
