Job summary

Galleria Woods Senior Living in Hoover, AL, is seeking a dependable, hospitality-focused Driver (Per Diem as needed) to transport residents to appointments, shopping and events. This part-time position offers a pay range of $17-$20 per hour based on experience.

Requirements include a valid Alabama driver’s license (CDL preferred), a high school diploma or GED, and at least six months of passenger transportation experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Alabama driver's license required.
• CDL preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) months of bus, van, shuttle, or passenger transportation experience required.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Dependable, professional, and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a van, bus, or automobile to meet resident transportation needs.
• Assist residents on and off vehicles, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or other mobility devices.
• Support resident outings and special events.
• Load groceries and other purchased items into the vehicle.
• Coordinate and schedule routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and maintain assigned vehicles.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as directed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive resident experience.
