Job summary

Galleria Woods Senior Living in Hoover, AL is seeking a dependable Driver (Per Diem as needed) to transport residents to appointments, outings, and events. You will assist residents getting in/out of vehicles and help with mobility devices while ensuring safety and a positive experience.

The role offers weekday shifts with occasional weekends, opportunities to earn supplemental income, and a supportive team in a welcoming senior living community.

Qualifications

• Valid Alabama driver's license required.
• CDL preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months of bus/van/shuttle transportation experience required.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Dependable, professional and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a van, bus, or automobile to meet resident transportation needs.
• Assist residents on and off vehicles, including mobility devices.
• Support resident outings and special events.
• Load groceries and other purchased items into the vehicle.
• Coordinate and schedule routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and maintain assigned vehicles.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as directed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive resident experience.

Pay Range: $17-$20 per hour based on experience
