Job summary

Galleria Woods Senior Living is seeking a dependable Driver (Per Diem as needed) to transport residents to appointments, errands, and events. The role supports a safe, friendly, and engaging community while providing reliable transportation and friendly service.

The position pays $17–$20 per hour based on experience and requires a valid Alabama driver's license with CDL preferred. High school diploma or GED and at least six months of passenger transportation experience are needed, with

• Valid Alabama driver’s license required.
• CDL preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) months of bus, van, shuttle, or passenger transportation experience required.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Dependable, professional, and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive a van, bus, or automobile to meet resident transportation needs.
• Assist residents on and off vehicles, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or other mobility devices.
• Support resident outings and special events.
• Load groceries and other purchased items into the vehicle.
• Coordinate and schedule routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and maintain assigned vehicles.
• Perform light housekeeping duties as directed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and contribute to a positive resident experience.
