Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living Salisbury is seeking an energetic driver for a per diem position. The driver will transport residents to various destinations and assist them in and out of the vehicle, while ensuring safety.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and a valid driver's license with 5+ years of driving experience, and may involve operating a multi-passenger bus. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and can work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Five (5) or more years of driving experience with a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to operate a seven (7) to sixteen (16) passenger bus preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs., required.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicle from community to social and other destinations according to schedule.
• Assist residents into and out of vehicle safely.
• Secure passengers’ wheelchairs and walkers during trips.
• Practice safe driving techniques at all times.
• Clean and service vehicle and report maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with Director of Activities to deliver resident activities.
