Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• Registered by the ARRT or registry eligible with hire contingent on registration.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of General Diagnostic Radiology and adheres to department protocols.
• Ensures correct patient demographics, marks, and exam data; transmits QA images to PACS; documents procedures.
• Performs radiographic procedures timely, analyzes orders, reviews schedules, and maintains a safe work environment.
• Uses RIS, PACS, and HIS systems to access data and document procedure status; validates data entry.
• Verifies patient identity and pregnancy status when applicable; prepares action plans and ensures patient safety.
