UNC Health Care seeks a Radiologic Technologist for per diem shifts in Johnston Health - Diagnostic Radiology - CL, Clayton, NC. You will perform routine radiology exams, assist radiologists, and ensure patient safety.

Ideal candidate will hold an Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences, ARRT registration or eligibility, and BLS certification. No prior experience required; on-site role with per diem schedule at UNC Health facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or equivalent program.
• ARRT registration or eligibility required within 1 year.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• No prior experience required.
• Knowledge of radiation safety and patient safety.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates knowledge of General Diagnostic Radiology and adheres to protocols; obtain RT(R) credentials.
• Ensures patient data accuracy; saves images to PACS and documents in RIS.
• Conducts routine radiology procedures and tests.
• Maintains quality images, reviews orders, schedule, and safety.
• Uses RIS, PACS, HIS systems to access and transmit data.
• Verifies patient identity, assesses condition, and responds to emergencies.
