Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• Dental Assistant State License required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Responsibilities

• Assist dental hygienists with procedures and record treatment information in patient records
• Expose dental x-rays and manage dental x-ray equipment
• Provide patients with information on dental hygiene and oral health
• Collect and record medical and dental histories and vital signs
• Provide postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist
