Job summary

SCA Health in the United States is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to scrub and support operative and invasive procedures. You will prepare instruments, assist with room setup and contribute to efficient patient care.

The role requires completion of an accredited CST program, CST certification and at least one year of CST experience; BLS is required within 90 days. This position offers comprehensive benefits and aligns with our mission to deliver value-based care.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification required.
• Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program

Current Surgical Technologist certification

BLS Certification (within 90 days or current)

1+ years CST experience
