Job summary

SCA Health in the United States is actively seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to scrub during operative procedures, prepare instruments for processing and help with room turnover. The CST will support the surgical team and ensure a sterile, efficient environment for patients.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CST program graduation, and preferred prior CST experience; current CST certification is preferred. BLS within 90 days or current certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a recognized Surgical Technologist Program.
• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Current CST certification preferred; BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning and room turnover for next patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
