Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support operative and invasive procedures. The CST will assist with instrument handling, room setup, and post-procedure cleaning to maintain sterile, ready environments for patients.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma, CST program completion, current CST certification, and at least 1 year of CST experience. BLS certification is required or obtained within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of a recognized and accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• At least 1+ years of experience as a CST
• Current Surgical Technologist certification required.
• Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport them to the decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the operative or other invasive procedure room and preparation of room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
