Job summary

SCA Health in McKinney, TX is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support operating rooms across our facilities. The CST will scrub, prepare instruments, and assist with post-procedure cleaning to maintain sterile environments and patient safety.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited CST program, and BLS certification or readiness to obtain it within 90 days. Prior CST experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Prior Experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of employment or current BLS

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post procedure cleaning of the room and prepare for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
