Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a per diem Certified Surgical Tech to join our Fairfield, CT surgery center. The role involves assisting during interventional procedures, preparing the procedure room, and maintaining sterile technique in a fast-paced environment.

CST certification and strong patient care skills are essential. The center operates Monday through Friday with as-needed hours, offering a team-based, patient-focused setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Surgical Technologist Certification required by state regulation.
• Experience in interventional settings and sterile technique preferred.
• 1–2 years related experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setting up and maintaining the procedure room.
• Stock and prepare interventional supplies and trays.
• Assist with patient positioning and prepping for procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist surgeon during procedures.
• Document relevant information and ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
